About Me

Via Goode is a former preschool teacher, teacher’s aide, and substitute teacher. She has been a professional storyteller since 2011, headlining in more than 600 performances in public and private schools, and various Hampton Roads public libraries. She is a member of the Virginia Storytelling Alliance, the National Storytelling Network, and NAEYC (the National Association for the Education of Young Children). She has been an artist with Arts for Learning since 2012, and was named their Teaching Artist of the year in 2015.
